Smart Energy Training, part of Realise Training Group, has continued its rapid expansion into new regions following the acquisition of two established training providers in Wales and Dorset.
The business has acquired Gas Assessment & Training Centre in Treforest, Pontypridd, and Technical Gas Training in Ferndown, Dorset.
Together, the two centres support more than 9,000 learners each year.
The acquisitions were completed on 28 August for an undisclosed sum and represent Smart Energy Training’s sixth and seventh acquisitions of 2026.
They follow the acquisition of Energy Training Centre in Nottingham, Elements Training & Assessment in Stourbridge, Brookhouse in West Yorkshire, SWAT Gas in Redditch and EAS Mechanical in Northampton.
The latest acquisitions establish Smart Energy Training’s first presence in Wales and expand its reach to the south coast of England.
